About us

We are Bjorn
& Melanie

We are Bjorn and Melanie, partners and entrepreneurs, living in the beautiful Twente region. Alongside our day jobs, we founded a company in holiday rentals: B&M Stays.

In our spare time we enjoy riding motorcycles, strength training and spending time with family and friends. We also love to travel and enjoy discovering (on the motorcycle) new places both in the Netherlands and abroad. Whether it's one night away, a few days off or a long holiday.

It is from this passion that B&M Stays was born: a small, personal company and dedicated partner that thinks along with you, takes the weight off your shoulders and puts personal contact at the centre. You are not just a number to us.

We believe in growing together: learning from each other, sharing experiences and celebrating successes together. We embrace new challenges and draw energy from helping others grow.

What types of accommodation does B&M Stays manage?

We can rent and manage various types of holiday accommodation, such as chalets, mobile homes, holiday cottages, apartments, bungalows, tiny houses, circus wagons, farmhouses and small villas. Both on holiday parks (where free rental is permitted) and on campsites or freestanding. Do you have an accommodation or a special property you'd like to rent out? Get in touch and we will discuss the possibilities together.
What exactly does the fixed rental option include?

With fixed rental, we rent your property for a fixed amount per month. We then sublet it as a holiday accommodation. The entire rental is handled on your behalf and you do not have to worry about guests, cleaning or administration. The fixed amount is paid to you every month — including in the low season.
What does commission-based rental mean?

With commission-based rental, we manage and rent the accommodation on your behalf, and you only pay when income is actually generated. A pre-agreed percentage of the rental income is retained as compensation for the services. The advantage is that our interests are aligned: the better your accommodation is rented, the higher the return for both parties.
How does the cleaning work?

Your accommodation is professionally cleaned after every booking. We ensure everything is always in perfect condition for the next guests. If you prefer to handle the cleaning yourself, that is of course always open to discussion.
Who do you rent the accommodations to?

We primarily target German and Dutch tourists — families and couples alike — though all guests are warmly welcome.
Can I also use my accommodation myself?

Of course you can also take a holiday in your own property. With the fixed rental option we rent the accommodation from you — personal use is then by arrangement. With the commission option there is more flexibility. We always discuss your holiday wishes before the property goes live.
Is there a charge for the introductory meeting?

No, the introductory meeting is completely no-obligation and free of charge. We get to know your situation and explore together which option suits you best — with no commitment whatsoever.
